What medications can DocDay prescribe?

DocDay physicians are fully licensed medical professionals and can prescribe almost any medication needed.

Please note, the limitations of online doctor/medical consultation and online prescriptions are as follows: DocDay is NOT a pharmacy. DocDay does not dispense or resell any medications. DocDay sends all prescriptions electronically and securely through SureScripts to each Client’s preferred pharmacy. DocDay will not prescribe narcotics/controlled substances for pain, anxiety, weight-loss, sleep, ADHD/ADD, anabolic steroids, testosterone replacement therapy or any medication that contains pseudoephedrine. This policy is fully enforced by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). DocDay providers cannot approve transfers of prescriptions to a pharmacy in a different state from where the original prescription was ordered by the DocDay provider. Furthermore, DocDay is not a substitute for an in-office medical visit nor is it a substitute for Emergency Medical Care or 911. If you experience a medical emergency, call 911 immediately .DocDay strives to prescribe antibiotics in an ethical manner, meaning we try not to overuse antibiotics. We educate Clients on the appropriate use of antibiotics and follow evidence-based guidelines. When used appropriately, antibiotics fight bacterial infections. When used inappropriately, they lead to resistance and the risk of unwanted side effects. Refills on antibiotics and other short-term medications are NOT permitted. If your symptoms are not improving, it is necessary to see the Provider again to evaluate the change of condition and decide on an updated treatment plan. Repeated failure to follow Providers' treatment plan can result in being discharged as a Client.
